The community library has been completed and is
operating for some time now. The library is open
Monday to Thursday from 4 until 7 in the afternoon.
Here, anyone that is interested can borrow any book
of his/her liking by simply presenting his/her ID.

Every year, on the first Saturday of September,
the Community Council organises the annual Cultural
Evening that takes place in the community's cultural
centre. The Cultural Evening is one of the most
known events that occur and every year it attracts
several people, which are entertained through traditional
food, "resi" (traditional dish offered
on weddings), drinks, music, dancing and singing.
The culture night is going to take place in co operation
with the local culture center.

Every Easter, an event is organised by the Community
Council that includes all the traditional games
that take place during Easter celebrations. A unique
event that happens in the community on Easter Monday
is the lighting of a great fire as well as the known
feast that follows with an orchestra and dancing.
The Easter events is going to take place in co operation
with the local culture center. |
